Joint Optimization of Platoon Control and Resource Scheduling in Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure System

Vehicle platooning technology is essential in achieving group consensus, on-road safety, and fuel-saving. Meanwhile, Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication significantly facilitates the development of connected vehicles. However, coupled effects longitudinal vehicle's mobility, platoon control V2I may result a low reliable network between vehicle roadside unit, there tradeoff reliability. In this paper, we investigate bi-objective joint optimization problem where first objective to maximize success probability data transmission (communication reliability) second function minimize traffic oscillation flow. The mobility state affects channel capacity performance. context, deeply explore relationship signals resource scheduling theoretically deduce closed-form expression optimal reliability objective. Through closed expression, transform model into single MPC by using $\epsilon$ -constraint method. We design an efficient algorithm for solving prove convergence. To verify effectiveness proposed method, finally evaluate spacing error, speed vehicles through simulation experiments two experimental scenarios. results show that control-communication co-design can improve performance while satisfying high communications.
